BONUS ENTRY INTO THE GRAND FINALE!

To give everyone that plays in Event #2 (August 19th) an extra chance to qualify for the Grand Finale event in October, I have decided to give away the 20^th spot (in the Grand Finale 2-table live event...I have been holding this one spot open, looking for a fun way to give it away). [For all the different ways to qualify to play in the 2-Table Live Event Grand Finale click here.] I want to encourage you to invite a friend to join and play in our free promotion for Event #2 on Aug 19^th. I have added an extra space on the Registration form (‘Sponsor') for them to list YOU as the person that told them about this event (make sure they put your name in that space!). This has to be someone that has not registered already, and they have to live or work in Santa Clara County or Fremont (trying to keep this a local promotion...). They also must play in Event #2 on August 19^th. [Note: If they register for the promotion, sign into the tournament, and they simply Sit Out the entire tourney, the Sponsor and them will not be considered for this bonus spot. Fulltilt sends me a player log for each tournament since I'm the host and it is easy to see if players were logged in and playing/etc during the tournament itself.] Out of all the people that get a friend to register and play in Event #2, one of you will instantly qualify for the Grand Finale!

Here's how I'll do it: I will look at where you and your friend finished in Event #2 and see which pair finished the highest (based on combined positions, not points). If you get multiple people to join and play, you will be paired with whichever one finishes the highest. The pair that finishes the highest will both receive a $25 PF Chang's gift card, and the Sponsor will instantly qualify for the Grand Finale live event! Who knows...if there are only a few people that get a new person to register and play, you've got a pretty good chance of instantly qualifying for the Grand Finale. If THEY want to be eligible for this extra spot (by telling one of their friends), tell them they can also get a friend to register listing them as the sponsor, and so on. On top of all this, I will give a $25 PF Chang's gift card to whoever gets the most people to register AND play in Event #2 (as determined by them listing you as their ‘Sponsor' on the Registration form).
