Step By Step Guide to Getting Setup
There are three main requirements needed in order to participate in our free World Series of Poker promotions.
- You must live or work in Santa Clara County or Fremont (we are trying to keep this a local promotion and these are the areas where we primarily work)
- You need to have a free online account with www.LuvinPoker.com poker. If you don't have one already it is simple to setup.
- In order to play online poker on LuvinPoker, you will need to download their software. Click on this link: www.LuvinPoker.com and click on 'Download Now'.
- Follow the download directions and setup your account. Note: You will NOT have to give them any personal/financial information...I believe they just need your email address. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO DEPOSIT ANY MONEY INTO YOUR ACCOUNT OR GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD OR ANYTHING OF THAT NATURE. As I mentioned, our promotion is 100% free for you to join and play.
- Choose a unique NICKNAME and password when you setup your account. NOTE: If you played on RaiseAndFold.com (the previous site that we played on) and you try to use your same nickname and userID it will complain that it is already in use by another player. That's because RaiseAndFold and LuvinPoker are sort of part of the same system and they don't allow the same names to be used. So, unfortunately, you need to create a slightly different nickname. The recommendation they gave me is to simply add a '1' to the end of your Nickname and userID.
- IMPORTANT: Your NICKNAME will be what other players see when you are playing in a tournament. Please list your NICKNAME on my Registration form when you signup on my website (that way I know who each player is and where to send prizes/etc)
- Launch your new software on your computer and login to the poker lobby. Important: When it is your first time logging into your account you may need to Validate your email address. Follow the directions. Once you have done this you are all ready.
- You must register on my website so that I know who is playing and who is to receive the prizes (When you play online poker you create a NICKNAME, so unless you register on my website I won't know who you are!) You can register by CLICKING HERE
